NEW DELHI: Alien encounters, UFO sightings or moon walking — Indians are the most adventurous when it comes to extraterrestrial matters. A recent survey by Synovate, a global market research company, confirms this.The Times of India

While 60% Indians said they would like to travel to outer space one day, 61% of those surveyed in other parts of Asia said they wouldn't want to even if given an option. The Chinese (76%) seemed least adventurous followed by the Indonesians (71%).
The survey covered China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia and Korea. Extraterrestrial Experiences More than six out of 10 respondents or 64% Asians admitted they believed in intelligent life outside Earth, with 10% saying they had seen a UFO and 3% saying they had had an encounter with aliens.
Among them, 81% Chinese and 70% Hong Kong residents said they believed in intelligent aliens, 13% Indians and 10% Koreans admitted sighting UFOs and 6% Indonesians believed they had had alien encounters.
