This video is unsubstantiated, unscientific, and a disservice to ufo research and this website. That the phenomenon is ignored by the mainstream is not helped by posts like this.

ReplyDeleteThank you for taking time to make comment; however, I do find it amusing that your thesis "wants" to be about the conformity of Ufological research yet you make your critique hiding behind a pseudonym . . . it's seems oxymoronic from where I sit.
In any event, re posted video: it was never claimed to be "substantiated" and or "scientific in nature"; it is merely a claim by one individual, stating that this was recorded via the live stream of the ISS.
I might add the the vast majority of UFO reports (like the a fore mentioned) originate as declarations by various witnesses. What initiates scientific method is the "observation" of a phenomenon; science and substantiation is what follows.
Finally, you refer to "the mainstream" which can be construed to mean several things; if you were/are referring to the media; they certainly don't "ignore" Ufology; they just don't know how to address it properly.
