BLACKFOOT, Idaho - Many of our viewers reported UFOs flying over Blackfoot last Saturday. One viewer has sent in a possible explanation.

Viewer Bryan Shigihara sent us a video of people launching Chinese lanterns at a wedding in the area. The lanterns were sent into the air in honor of the bride and groom. . . .

    students were making homemade Chinese lanterns near a university in the late 1960's and setting them off at night which caused people who saw them to think that they had just seen UFO's. The first thing I thought of when I saw the video of the multiple "UFOs" was Chinese lanterns.
