Testimony at the hearing included forty researchers and military/agency witnesses before former members of Congress including Congressmen Roscoe Bartlett, Merrill Cook and Congresswomen Lynn Wolsey, and Darlene Hooley. The CHD attempted to accomplish what they felt Congress has failed to do for forty-five years—seek out the facts surrounding the most important issue of this or any other time. . . .
