FREMONT — The Fremont Police Department has released a statement about a report of an unidentified flying object spotted Sunday morning in Fremont.
At 12:33 a.m., a man called the police department claiming he observed a UFO hovering and moving up and down by a radio tower.
The police dispatcher asked the man if he was serious, according to the report, and the man said that what he saw was not a joke.
Two officers were dispatched to Sweeney Warehouse in the 600 block of North Stone Street to investigate the complaint. In his report, Fremont police Officer Lester Daniels said police did not see any flying objects in the area.
“However, it should be noted that our car radios were having interference while this call was being investigated,” Daniels wrote in the report. . . .
