A UFO has been spotted over Westcliff-on-Sea.
The sighting was reported on a UFology website by a witness known only as Ben.
He says he saw the UFO over the suburb of Southend-on-Sea at around 11.35pm on July 24.
In a witness statement, he wrote: "I saw an almost equilateral triangle formation consisting of white light at each vertex.
"It was huge and oriented side-on, not horizontally.
"It was stationary approximately 3000ft above the sea, over the Thames estuary or maybe over Kent, looking south towards Kent.
"It made no sound at all and disappeared – “dimmed out” – after 20 seconds."
The sighting took place on the same day and at around the same time that a UFO was spotted over Colchester - as previously reported by www.brentwoodgazette.co.uk . . ..
