'Under the Dome's' Brian K. Vaughan Defends Finale, Vows Season 2 Will Be 'Different'
The network is teaming with Soo Hugh, a writer/co-EP on CBS' summer hit, to develop an untitled drama about a group of aliens out to destroy the Earth. Hugh will pen the script for the hourlong ABC Studios entry, which has landed at ABC with a script commitment.
Hugh, whose credits also include The River and Zero Hour, will executive produce the drama that is described as a race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy out to destroy the world by using the Earth's most precious resource: children. . . .
