Stan Romanek, UFO Personality And Self-Described Alien Abductee, Arrested On Child Porn Charges
By The Huffington Post

Stan Romanek (pictured above), a controversial figure in the UFO community -- known for his claims of personal alien abduction and a dubious video allegedly showing an alien looking through a window in his house -- has been arrested on charges of "sexual exploitation of a child," according to a Loveland, Colo., Police Department press release (see below).
. . . Romanek was under investigation "of the online sharing and possession of child pornography." The police release (seen below) also states that part of the charges against Romanek "relates to the possession of more than 20 images of child pornography." Romanek was released last Thursday on $20,000 personal recognizance bond. . . .

I hope the charges aren't true -- to be a pedophile is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. But the counterclaims by Lisa Romanek are so unlikely that they make Stan look guilty. Also, her idea of taking UFO evidence to court to defend Stan is highly delusional.
ReplyDeleteThese people should just go away.
Hi Terry,
DeleteI'm with you and I do adhere to "innocent until proven guilty." However, as I was telling Marc D' Antonio, setting aside the current charges, this guy is a liar and a fraud and Ufology, sadly is one of the few fields (and I use the term loosely) where these types can thrive. When the need to "believe" replaces common sense and objectivity . . . well Barnum's (erroneously) attributed quote comes to mind.
Cheers,
Frank
