THIS week's report of a UFO sighting in Whitstable has some startling similarities to another sighting in the area, which took place almost five years ago to the day.
Reports emerged this week that four large UFOs resembling octahedron-shaped fireballs were seen flying in the skies over Whitstable on Sunday.
But according to UFO sighting website ufoinfo.com, it's not the first time the area has experienced strange light shows.
A second report was submitted by an unnamed eyewitness, dated on April 12, 2009 - almost exactly five years ago to the day of the latest sighting.
It states that five diamond-shaped objects were seen to fly over Whitstable coastline and out to sea before disappearing.
This account also includes a photograph of the mysterious objects. . . .
