. . . .Based on data from the National UFO Reporting Center, the Pacific Northwest and upper New England spotted the most UFOs per capita in the United States, according to Vox.
Vox made an out of this world map illustrating UFO sightings per 10,000 people throughout the United States, showing that New England, particularly Maine and Vermont, have their fair share of reports.
Since the National UFO Reporting Center started collecting data, people in Massachusetts have reported 1,496 UFO sightings. Check out the report for detailed descriptions of the sightings, shape of the UFO, duration and city.
Some highlights from the list include:
- “I am nine years old and I was sitting outside with my mom after a party. I sighted a medium size fireball in the north sky my mom saw it all so it was slow moving and I saw it for a good 3 to 4 seconds.”
- “Large ‘thing’ at tree top level over power lines emitting rays of light from many openings/windows, glowing, red & yellow.” . . .
