I didn't get a picture but I live in asheville nc and today 9/13/14 around 8pm when I was pulled up at a stop light I was gazing into the sky. All of a sudden I saw a series of silver lights that were evenly spaced in the shape of a HUGE boomerang flash very quickly, almost resembling a strobe light. They only flashed once though. My boyfriend saw it too.
