HI MY LATE FATHER WAS A BLOCK AIR RAID WARDEN GLASSEL PARK SUBURB OF LOS ANAGLESWhen the Battle of L.A. took pace the evening before tis a BRGHT WHITE LIGHT was seen (the being eb 23rd early morning hours 1942) Then the Battle of Los Angeles tooknplace Feb 24to early morning of Feb 25th 1942! A neighbor a Los Angeles Police Officer (this was Ave 34 GlasselPark Los ASngles0 trade my father for some autoparts(He my fthe was a Auto supplyjobber t the time! Auto parts were rationed!) This peice of wahetevr itwas was ligt grayish not aluminum .Cant say what happened to it or what itwas only a 1 nch or so .75 years since ll this tookplace and still no answer to waht was being shot at that day!
